ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to significant growth in our construction apprenticeships, we are looking for an Apprentice Skills & Development Coach for Electrical to join our established apprenticeship team.
As an Apprentice Skills & Development Coach you will be responsible for a group of learners in your trade expertise area. Delivery will consist mainly of 1 to 1 meetings in the apprentices’ workplace, working closely with the employers to develop the apprentices to achieve national accreditation.
You will undertake continuous assessment and observations to ensure the learners are progressing and reaching their full potential for sustaining employment. The Assessors will work in collaboration with the college teaching team for the learners to attend their classes to build their knowledge and practical skills in a supportive environment.
It is essential that applicants possess relevant occupational qualifications and substantial work experience in the Electrical sector.
You will possess one of the following:
The successful candidate will have a minimum 3 years’ experience in installation.
Ideally, you will possess assessor/verifier qualifications; however this is not essential as full training and development can be provided
