Lakes College is a technical vocational Further Education College delivering education and training to full-time and part-time learners and apprentices to degree level. We have a vibrant campus in West Cumbria with state of the art vocational workshops and resources, including the National College for Nuclear Northern Hub.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting time to join Lakes College as we expand our curriculum offer to include Level 1 to 3 and new T Level Programmes (which are equivalent to three A Levels and are designed and delivered with employers).
We are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to complement our existing delivery team as a Nursing / Health & Social Care Lecturer. This position will be a key member of the Health and Social Care and T-Level delivery team working closely with the NHS and other key employers.
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or a Degree in Nursing or a similar Professional Qualification. You will have a range of experience in the Health & Social Care sector, as well as demonstratable in-depth knowledge of the subject area, which can be used to help support the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required of an excellent Health & Social Care learner.
The right person will have a passion for working with and developing young people into their chosen career.
Recent and relevant teaching experience along with a recognised teaching qualification is considered advantageous but not essential as full training and development will be provided for this role.
