ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking to recruit a proactive and customer-focused IT 1st Line Support Engineer to join our established Digital Services Team.


In this role, you will provide first-line digital support for users, hardware, software and digital learning resources. Working along a team of other 1st Line Engineers, you will assist with the smooth running of the Digital Services department and contribute to the delivery of services to internal and external customers. This a key role in supporting services to enhance teaching, learning and business throughout the College, enabling everyone to maximise their potential.


Successful candidates must possess a minimum of 5 GCSE’s (Including Maths & English) or equivalent and be computer literate at an intermediate level. Recent relevant experience, good customer service skills with experience of working within a customer service role is essential.


Holding a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject or having a recent ICT qualification is considered advantageous.
